Amazon.com rolled out it’s Netflix competitor to Amazon Prime customers today at no additional cost. The Amazon Prime service costs $79 a year to enjoy free shipping on any order. That translates to roughly $6.59 a month compared to Netflix’s $7.99 a month streaming-only service.
But with only 5,000 titles at launch, it’s hardly a serious competitor to Netflix at this point. But that could change overnight.
