The most online purchases by men will be made between 7-8 PM.
Women are most likely to buy online between 12-1 PM.
It takes men an average of 10 minutes to complete an online purchase.
But it takes women 14 minutes to do the same.

THOUGHT: As always, results may differ. Check your own online transaction data to determine when your male and/or female customers are most likely to buy.

Armed with that data, you can then plan your emails and social media messages to keep your brand top of mind at the time they’re most likely to be in the mood to buy.

Test sending your messages an hour before their peak buying period, a half an hour, and fifteen minutes before to see if one period boosts sales more than another. Test different wordings and/or images for your messages as well and be deliberate about recording results so you have objective data from which to make decisions.
